In a market whose demands are still high, the factor of rarity is one of the most important criteria when acquiring a new car. For this reason – and in connection with the demographic change in the clientele – Dylan Miles believes that in 2018 the Aston Martin Virage and above all the rare 6.3 version should definitely come into the focus of the collectors.

Aston Martin brand expert Stephen Archer agrees, because for him the model plays an important role in the history of Aston Martin. “With this car, Aston Martin made another turnaround in the late 1980s,” he says. “It contributed to the survival of the brand – it showed what development ability was available despite limited resources.” Also, this model with only 358 coupes and 233 Volantes (and in addition to a dozen highly powered 6.3 models), which at that time in Newport Pagnell originated in manufactory, extremely rare.

“The Virage has been undervalued for so long,” concludes Archer, “it’s time he experienced a renaissance.”
